American Stonecast laminated products are made quite differently than the industry standard. The typical RV tables & countertops are made from a thin vertical grade laminate glued to a 4×8 sheet of particle board. The prelaminated sheets are then cut to shape and the edging applied. When counters are made this way the edging tends to come off or break very easily. We do it the opposite way even though it takes three steps instead of two. The edging is first applied and then the top is laminated on to the substrate. This protects the edge from pulling loose. It takes more time but it is worth it in the long run.

Secondly a 30ga piece of sheet metal is incorporated where ever mounting brackets or table mounts are needed. This gives screw retention where it is needed most. No one ever sees the metal as it is sandwiched between the high density polystyrene core and the laminate. Our laminates are much thicker than the typical vertical grade others use and come from distributors in the U.S. and not from overseas. More expensive but well worth it. As we sell to almost all of the major RV manufacturers we stock almost all of the current designs they are using.

One of our most popular products is our dinette table that is also used as a bed in most units. Customers love the fact that it matches their decor but stronger and less than half the weight of those supplied by the manufacturer. No one likes to bend over and lift a heavy awkward dinette top to make a bed for grandchildren. Another popular product is our stand alone Hummer table. Its legs fold flat and can easily be carried by a child. It is so strong it can support a mid-sized car with four tables each table can support over 1000 pounds.
